Brenda's love affair with the Grand Canyon at a young age; she made her first painting of the Canyon and it has been a dominant theme of her art throughout her painting life. Recipient of many awards, including the Realism Award of Excellence at the OPA 2013 National Exhibition, her work resides in permanent public and private collections worldwide.
